SMITHFIELD — The second annual Lake Education Day FunFest will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Sunset Camps. Smithfield, Mercer and Rome will be represented at the event, which provides information about the lake communities.
The event will also kick off the North Pond Association’s Are You Buff Enuff? campaign. Flyers and handouts along with an after the rain property survey will be available.
Also at the event will be: Moonshiners Snowmobile Club, Smithfield Historical Society, lead tackle exchange, fishing line recycling, NPA T-shirts and hats will be on sale, raffle tickets for the Old Town Heron kayak will be on sale $5 each or 5 for $20 and free face painting and balloons and more.
