WATERVILLE — PechaKucha Night Waterville volume 8 is scheduled for Friday at the Hathaway Creative Center, 10 Water St. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for socializing; presentations will begin at 7:20 p.m.

The event will be co-presented with the Maine International Film Festival.

Paul Boghossian will be the master of ceremonies. Barrels Community Market will provide complimentary snacks. Silver Street Tavern will host a bar.

Presenters will be: Veronica Cross, artist/festival director, “Maine’s Dooryard Festival;” Amy Stacey Curtis, installation artist, “SPACE;” Anthony Kaufman, film journalist, “Resist. Occupy. Protest;” Jim MacDonald, artist, “Marquetry and Inlay in Wood;” Robin Mandel, artist, “Motion and Inversion;” Sandy Olson, multimedia artist, “Ground Truthing;” James Provenzano, artist, “The Persistence of Vision;” Denise Spear, student, “Shoes Are Made for Walking.”
