CONCORD, N.H. — A New Hampshire man has been accused of leaving three children in a car after driving into a utility pole and running away.

Police arrested 24-year-old Lloyd Cooper of Concord on Friday.

Police said they saw the car pass through three stop signs without stopping before it struck the utility pole.

The children, ages 1, 4, and 6, were not hurt and were later released to family.

Cooper also was charged with driving after revocation or suspension; disobeying an officer, resisting arrest, and other charges.
