UNITY — Ajay Picard of Palmyra has made his way to the top of the Late Model points standings at Unity Raceway. Now he’s made that lead even bigger.

Picard picked up his first Late Model win of the season Saturday, holding off Dean Fuller, who had won the previous two features. Kevin Douglass of Sidney finished third.

In a bang-bang-bang finish in the Flyin’ 4 race, Henry Boudreau crossed the finish line before Cody Robbins of Oakland and Paul Shorette, who led most of the race. Mike Dulaney finished fourth, followed by Samantha Farnham of Richmond.

The Monster Mini Stock race was also close. Brent Roy of Vassalboro led for the first 17 laps of the 20-lap feature, but Tim Collins of Farmingdale seized control late and earned the win. John Fortin of Vassalboro finished third.

In Late Model Pro Four Division, Clinton’s Tim Robinson pushed past Steve Rackliff of Starks for the victory. Alex Fernald, Bryan Lancaster and Norm Cummings, Jr. rounded out the top five.

Skowhegan’s Ed Archer won the Challenger division race, finishing ahead of points leader Ken Lord of Waterville. Horace Crawford, who was making his season debut in the Challenger series, finished third.

Other winners were Burnham’s Chris King in the Wildcat, and Canaan’s Robert Dyer in the Teen Thunder.

American-Candadian Tour

ST. CROIX, QUEBEC CITY — Jean Francois Dery of Quebec City won the Riverside 150 at Circuit RIverside Speedway on Saturday night.

Danny Trepanier and Patrick Hamel finished second and third, respectively. Trepanier led for most of the first 75 laps and Hamel led more than 40 laps over the second 75-lap segment.

Patrick Cliche, David Michaud, and Steven Boissoneault went four-five-six, and defending champion Patrick Laperle finished seventh after dealing with several flat tires.

OXFORD — Bill Childs, Jr. led from the ninth lap on to cruise to victory in the 40-lap Late Model feature at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday.

David Farrington, Jr. finished second, followed by Austin Theriault, Bryan Mason and Travis Stearns.

In the Runnin’ Rebels division, Brady Romano took the checkered flag, followed by Troy Jordan, Jonah Farrington, Dustin Salley and Justin Larsen. Rob Greenleaf won the 30-lap Mini Stock feature after taking the lead on lap 22. Calvin Rose, Jr. finished second, followed by Darrell Moore, Scott Farrington and Ashley Marshall.

Ryan Robbins was the winner in the Strictly Stock feature. Kurt Hewins placed second, and Matt Williams, Corey Morgan, and Zach Bowie rounded out the top five. There were four different leaders over the 30-lap race, and Robbins didn’t take the lead for good until lap 28.
