MONMOUTH — Aaron Chase has been elected president of the Monmouth Rescue Association.

Chase, of Monmouth, has been an emergency medical technician with the service since 2007. He is also employed by Winthrop Ambulance Service and full time by Houle’s Plumbing and Heating in Waterville.

The association has also named Lori Bachelder as treasurer; Christina Levesque as secretary; and Jennifer Pelletier to the Board of Directors.

Re-elected officers were Steve Harrison, chief, and Kenny Ouellette, Board of Directors.

The association will have a booth at the Monmouth Fair, Aug. 1-4, where members will provide information about their organization and give free blood pressure checks.

Monmouth Rescue is a non-profit association contracted to provide 24-hour emergency medical services in Monmouth and Wales with mutual aid to Winthrop and Leeds. It operates on a volunteer basis during nighttime hours.
