Building a police station in the location proposed, at the Head of the Falls, near the Morning Sentinel building, would be detrimental for the future of downtown Waterville.

One thing city dwellers everywhere agree on is the value of open space, especially when planted with trees, shrubs, grass or flowers. Common, open space is essential.

I suggest the city find a location along College Avenue, a half-mile or so north of downtown. The old Marden’s store location would be a good choice.
