I want to thank the person who found my 14-year-old son’s wallet, even though all the money was stolen from it.

My son was golfing with his brother, another teenage boy, and the boy’s grandfather onto July 13. His wallet must have dropped on the ground while he was golfing. He did not realize it was missing until the next day.

He called the golf course to see if anyone had turned in a wallet, but no one had.

Over the past few years, my son has found a few wallets and has returned each of them just the way he found them. He hoped that the person who found his wallet would do the same, especially since it carried his school identification card with his name and photo on it.

The wallet was found three days later alongside the road at the golf course. The $70 that was inside was missing, but at least my son got his wallet back.
