JEFFERSON — Hidden Valley Nature Center, Egypt Road, will offer a program on Maine mushrooms from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 10.

Mycologist Greg Marley will teach how to identify and collect mushrooms. Participants will also learn the best edible and medicinal mushrooms, take a foraging hike and more.

Class will be held rain or shine. The cost is $60 or $50 for members; $10 will be added for same day registration. Prepayment is required.
