The wind blows. Anybody who thinks windpower is a great alternate source of electricity should think twice.
I watched a movie, “Windfall,” about a couple of upstate New York towns, one of which opted for wind power and the other which rejected it.
It’s scary what they don’t tell you about wind power: Like the towers are about 400 feet tall and the propellors make an irritating whooshing sound 24/7. Then there’s a strobe-like shadow effect.
People in the town that have the big towers say they have trouble sleeping and other niceties.
So, I went from being an uninformed proponent of wind power to a semi-informed anti. The video will definitely get people thinking.
