MADISON — Cornerstone Baptist Church recently named a new pastor. The Rev. Bill Lloyd and his wife, Joyce, are Maine natives. They both are graduates of Livermore Falls High School.

The pastor received Bible training at Baptist Bible College in Clark Summit, Pa. He and his wife have served in churches in Maine and Pennsylvania. They have four children, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Cornerstone Sunday services are for all ages and will be at 9:30 a.m., with morning worship at 10:45 a.m. and evening service at 6 p.m.

Wednesday’s Bible study and prayer along with children’s ministry is at 6 p.m.

Tedd Fish to perform

at New Hope Church

SOLON — Tedd Fish will perform a concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12 at New Hope Church.

Refreshment and fellowship is planned following the concert.
