PORTLAND — Tyler Moody of Augusta, a 2010 graduate of Cony High School, was named to the fall 2011 semester and the spring 2012 semester dean’s list at the University of New England in Biddeford. Moody played for the university’s golf team and was recently accepted into the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at the University of New England, Portland Campus. He is the son of Jennifer Riggs of Augusta and Richard Moody of West Gardiner.
Merrill receives master’s degree
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Jonathan Ross Merrill, son of Julie Ann and Mark O’Brien of Augusta, and Richard and Viviana Merrill of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, received a master of professional studies in sports industry management from Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, Washington.
Merrill received his undergraduate degree in mass communications from the University of Maine in 2009.
O’Brien graduates magna cum laude
ORONO — Cameron Curtis O’Brien, son of Julie Ann and Mark O’Brien of Augusta, received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Honors College at the University of Maine, graduating magna cum laude with high honors.
