WALDOBORO — Medomak Valley High School class of 2015 will sponsor a sprint triathlon on Aug. 25 in Union.

There will be a quarter mile swim, 13-mile bike ride, and three-mile run, beginning and ending at Ayer Park on Depot Street in Union.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race starts at 8 a.m. Advance registration costs $30 or $55 for a team; race day registration costs $35 and or $60 for a team. Space is limited. For more information, call Susan Jones at 409-6905, email [email protected] or visit mvtriathlon.webs.com.
