I just read the letter from Greg Paquet (Aug. 2) who sounds angry about paying for health care.

I could be angry that a large part of my taxes pays for a military, which I personally believe makes things worse for all of us.

Anger, while justified in some cases, does not effect a change. I choose to pay my taxes and not be angry.

Living in a democracy sometimes means others prevail. We can choose to act or accept. Anger hurts and doesn’t change anything.
