Newell makes dean’s list at UNE

BIDDEFORD — Timothy Newell of Augusta has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at the University of New England.

Newell is studying math and science and is planning to pursue a career in the medical field. A 2010 graduate of Cony High School, he is the son of Lisa Newell of Augusta and Winfield Newell of Orlando, Fla.

Mayo named to Hofstra dean’s list

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Katherine Mayo of Augusta, Maine, has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at Hofstra University.
