I am a Democrat and a member of the Kennebec Democratic Committee.
Since Alan Kelley is not on the ballot as the most qualified candidate for the position of district attorney, I am fully supporting, campaigning and voting for Republican Darrick Banda. Banda is the only candidate for district attorney for Kennebec/Somerset counties who has prosecuted and defended criminal cases before Maine juries. He is the only candidate who has criminal experience from both sides of Maine courtrooms.
Banda is a lifelong Maine resident, who lived outside the state only while he served in the U.S. Army defending our country.
The citizens of Kennebec/Somerset counties need an experienced attorney who has prosecuted and defended criminal cases before Maine juries to be their next district attorney. Banda is the most qualified candidate to continue to protect the public safety of us all.
