GARDINER — Gardiner Area Adult Education will offer a program, in conjunction with Kennebec Valley Community College, that will make some college courses available tuition-free for adult students.

Classes include Introduction to Psychology, Elements of Mathematics, Career Decision Making, and Introduction to Computer Essentials and Online Learning. Students will have to buy books.

A pre-college transitions program will also be offered to students who need help with basic skills to prepare for college.

Information sessions will take place at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, and Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Gardiner Area High School, 40 West Hill Road. Refreshments will be served.
