Holy mackerel, what gives with Mitt Romney? Ever since he appointed Paul Ryan as his running mate, he seems to have forgotten that he is only the presumptive Republican nominee for the presidency.

Romney has praised Ryan as some kind of panacea for all this country’s ills.

If he keeps painting a halo around Ryan’s head, the Republican electorate will begin to believe him and surprise him at their convention.

I expect they will give him a consolation prize, such as the blueprint for a more streamlined and efficient Seamus top-of-the-car carrier.

I think it was Yogi Berra who first said, “It ain’t over ’til it’s over.” I can hardly wait for the Republican convention.
