Physician William Griffith, of Augusta, wrote a letter (“Doctor offers ‘inconvenient’ facts about homosexuality,” Aug. 10) about the gay marriage issue.
He wrote that scientists discovered something about testosterone in sheep that will make them be homosexual at birth. He also said homosexuality is not contagious.
* Who has asked, with any level of intelligence, why a person is what he or she is, and who cares? The issue is about marriage.
* What do sheep have to do with the issue?
Maybe after reading Griffith’s letter we should wear hip boots. It’s getting deep. I’ll just pick up my feet and hope.
