Each election, we must ask ourselves what type of person we should send to the state Legislature.
What experiences, knowledge and connection to the community should this person have? I believe Matt Pouliot is the ideal candidate to represent District 57 (Augusta) in the Maine House. He exemplifies the active and selfless community member that we seek in our civic leaders.
An Augusta native who is invested in our city, Matt graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta. He is a highly driven young man, building a real estate career while establishing roots in the community by volunteering on the Augusta Planning Board, the Rotary Club and the Augusta Downtown Alliance.
Matt’s reputation of good character, sound judgment and a solid work ethic will serve him well at the Capitol. We simply cannot afford to pass up this opportunity to elect Matt Pouliot to the Maine House.
