I am sorry the Kennebec Journal missed the Readfield Heritage Days Quilt Show at the Union Meeting House on Aug. 11.
Quilts, some new and some family treasures dating back to the mid 1800s, were displayed on the pews of the historic building.
Many visitors were obviously awestruck as they entered the building and saw the beautiful quilts with the tromp l’oeil art work serving as a frame for the lovely display.
Good job, Union Meeting House Committee and quilters.
