WATERVILLE — Members of the Kennebec Retired Educators Association are invited to work at the James H. Bean School, 2896 Middle Road in Sidney from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8.

Folks are asked to bring a lunch, water and pencils. Members planning to participate must RSVP to Gail Smith at [email protected].

This community service project is in conjunction with a national “Day of Caring” slated for Sept. 11; individual associations are free to choose the day in which to serve local schools.
