FARMINGTON — A hands-on GPS training session will be 8 a.m.-noon Thursday at the USDA Service Center, 107 Park St.

Garmin GPS units will be used for this session, which is limited to 25 pre-paid participants. This class can expand GPS skills and avoid expensive, time-consuming and risky mistakes during the classroom session before going outside for hands-on field instruction and use of your units.

Pre-register by mailing or dropping off an $18 check along with their name, mailing address, phone number and email address to Franklin County SWCD. Registration deadline is noon Wednesday.
