RICHMOND — Payton Johnson and Amber Loon each had a goal and an assist to lead Richmond past Buckfield 4-0 in an East-West Conference girls soccer game Wednesday.

Sadie Gosse and Kelsie Anair added goals for Richmond while Noell Acord contributed an assist. Gabby Theriault made 12 saves for Buckfied (1-1-0) while Kelsi Obi wasn’t called upon for a save for Richmond (2-0-0).

Monmouth 2, Carrabec 1: Melissa Brassard had a goal and an assist, including the game-winner, to lead the Mustangs to the Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson.

Danielle Bumann opened the scoring with Brassard assisting before Carrabec’s Brooke Lewis tied the score with a penalty kick. Brassard scored her game-winner 22 minutes into the second half on a pass from Taylor Spadafora.

Adrianna Gonzales made 21 saves for Monmouth (3-0-0) while Macy Welch made 14 stops for Carrabec (1-2-0).

Mt. Abram 2, Winthrop 0: Emma Houston scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Roadrunners to the MVC win in Salem. Houston scored unassisted with 10 minutes left in the first half before assisting on Mackenzie Tyler’s goal midway through the second half. Danielle Pease made 14 saves in goal for Winthrop (0-2-1) while Allie Lopez didn’t have a save for Mt. Abram (1-0-1).

Boys soccer

Richmond 6, Buckfield 0: Randy Moody and Eddie Stewart scored two goals to lead the Bobcats in an East-West Conference game in Richmond.

Sam Lorbeski and Nate Tribbett also scored while Cameron Emmons and Xavier Trask had assists for Richmond (2-0-0).

Duldin Downey had 29 saves for Buckfield (1-1-0).

Field hockey

Dirigo 2, Hall-Dale 1: Ellie Wagner scored with five minutes left to play to lift the Cougars to the MVC win in Dixfield. Grace Hatfield scored for the winners in the first half assisted by Britt Longfellow. The Bulldogs tied the game in the second half on a goal from Shanay Gilbert assisted by Nicole Pelletier. Hannah Perry made nine saves, including a penalty stroke, for Hall-Dale (0-2-0) while Amanda Denbow had four saves for Dirigo (1-1-0).

Winthrop 8, St. Dominic 0: Lauren Kaiser scored three goals to lead the host Ramblers to the MVC win. Shauna Carlson scored two goals for Winthrop while Mary Claire Blanchard, Emmah Spahr and Rachel Ingram scored one apiece. Spahr also contributed two assists. Amanda Cortelino mad 21 saves in goal for St. Dom’s (1-2-0) while Alyssa Arsenault didn’t have any for Winthrop (3-0-0).
