HARTLAND — Author Annette Vance Dorey will give an illustrated talk about her new book, “Maine Mothers Who Murdered 1875-1925: Doing Time in State Prison” and share stories about the research and creating the book at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at the library, 16 Mill St. The event will be held in the library meeting room and light refreshments will be served.
