OAKLAND — Kristy Bernatchez scored three goals as the the Messalonskee field hockey team  cruised to a KVAC A win over the Rams in Oakland.

Emily York and Lynnae Luettich each added two goals for Messalonskee (5-1-0). Kylee Knight had a goal and an assist and York added an assist for the Eagles.

Jenna Bishop had 25 saves for Bangor (1-6-0).

Waterville 8, Lincoln 0:
Jenna Gagnon had four goals as the Panthers cruised to a KVAC B win in Newcastle.

Jenna Nawfel added two goals and an assist for Waterville (4-3-0), while Kelsey Tortorella and Sage Dugay each had a goal and Rachel Bergeron had an assist.

Lawrence 2, Hampden Academy 0: Alexis Chamberlain and Taylor Watson each scored a goal as the Bulldogs defeated the Broncos in Fairfield.

Kapriece Dahms and Bethany Rioux were each credited with assists in the contest for Lawrence (5-2-1). Hampden Academy (1-5) was never able to get a shot on goal.

Kate Seekins made 12 saves for the Broncos.

Erskine 2, MCI 1, 2OT: Marissa Jordan scored at 4 minutes, 53 seconds of the second overtime to give the Eagles the KVAC B win in Pittsfield.

Maine Central Institute’s Carolyn Newhouse opened the scoring 50 seconds into the game off an assist from Paige Larochelle. Emma Robertson tied the game with a goal in the second half.

Courtney Sprague made five saves for MCI (3-3-0) while Alexis Soucy made five for Erskine (1-5-0).

Leavitt 1, Nokomis 0: Sadie Royer scored on a breakaway with 5:27 left in regulation as the Hornets beat the Warriors in a KVAC B game in Turner.

Sierra Santamango had 11 saves for Leavitt (5-1-0).

Kendra Underhill had one save for Nokomis (3-2-1).

Skowhegan 14, Cony 0: Makaela Michonski, Allison Lancaster and Sarah Finnemore each had three goals and an assist as the Indians beat the Rams in a KVAC A game in Augusta.

Holly Lupo added two goals for the Indians, who improve to 8-0-0.

Kevie Rodrigue had 33 saves for Cony (2-4-1).

Edward Little 3, Erskine 2: Zach Tannebaum scored on a header in the second half as the Eddies beat the Eagles in a KVAC A game in South China.

Tyler Adams and Caleb Barden scored in the first half as Erskine (4-2-1) took a 2-0 lead. Luke Peabody had an assist for the Eagles and Jared Gartley made four saves.

Calvin Willette and Maslah Hassem scored later in the second to tie the game for Edward Little (3-3-0). Brady Pleau had 11 saves.

Mt. Ararat 6, Lawrence 1: Jason Tome scored twice as the Eagles beat the Bulldogs in a KVAC A game in Lawrence.

Griffin Stockford, Chris Pepin, Justin Pierce and Robbie Small each added a goal for Mt. Ararat (4-1-1). Gabe Pelletier made 12 saves to earn the win.

Drew Bois scored from Matt Saunders for Lawrence (2-3-2). Brad King made 16 saves.

Valley 3, Greenville 2: The Cavaliers scored three first-half goals and held on to beat the Lakers in an East-West Conference game in Bingham.

Carrington Miller, Andrew Marden and Stone Ellis all scored for Valley (3-2-0). Miller and Jordan Gillespie each had an assist, while Andrew Tremblay made 15 saves.

Matt DiAngelo and Tristan Richards scored for Greenville (5-1-0). Corey Henderson stopped six shots.

Mt. Abram 4, Mountain Valley 0: Trevor Brackley scored three goals as the Roadrunners beat the Falcons in an MVC game in Salem.

Jay Chenard added a goal, while Calum Dixon and Chris Daly each had an assists for Mt. Abram (4-4-0). Tristen Dyer and Greg Siekmen combined for eight saves.

Dakota Jacques had 12 saves for Mountain Valley (1-5-1).

Waterville 1, Messalonskee 1: Aidan Calkins scored a goal with less than three minutes to play in regulation as the Eagles earned a tie with the Panthers in a KVAC A game in Oakland.

Danilo Guthro scored the lone goal for Waterville (2-2-2) on a penalty kick early in the second half. Waterville had two goals called back in the contest.

Nick Kamra had an assist for Messalonskee.

Waterville outshot Messsalonskee (4-1-2)  22-9. Zach Disch made six saves for Waterville and Jonah Webb had eight saves for the Eagles.

Greater Portland Christian 2, Rangeley 0: Byeong Woo Jung and Teddy Lane scored in GPC’s win over the Lakers in Portland.

Gunnar Johnson had 17 saves for Rangeley.

Carrabec 3, Telstar 1: Will Crawford scored a pair of second half goals as the Cobras rallied to beat the Rebels in an MVC game in Bethel.

Brandon Lehay scored in the first half from John Layman to tie the game for Carrabec (2-5-0). Layman also assisted Crawford’s first goal. Trent Richardson ahd six saves.

Nick Conrad gave Telstar (1-4-1) a 1-0 lead. Liam Gallagher made 20 saves.

Girls soccer

Lawrence 2, Mt. Ararat 1, OT: Marissa Paquette scored with 35 seconds left in the first overtime period to give the Bulldogs the kVAC Class A win in Topsham. Ali Tozier gave Lawrence a 1-0 lead before Maddison Prescott tied the game for the Eagles off an assist from Christine Levesque.

Lauren Williams made six saves for Mt. Ararat (4-2-0) while Paige Belanger stopped seven shots for Lawrence (4-2-1).

Paige Leary had eight saves for Erskine (3-3-1), while Taylor Landry had seven saves for Edward Little (3-3-1).

Waterville 4, Messalonskee 0: Jayme Saulter and Kellie Bolduc each scored two goals as the Panthers beat the Eagles in a KVAC A game in Waterville.

Morgan Pellerin and Sarah Shoutla each had an assist for Waterville (3-2-1).

Shawna Oliver had 24 saves for Messalonskee (0-6-0).

Oceanside 3, MCI 0: Brittany Rytky and Eman Spencer scored in the first half as the Mariners shut out the Huskies in a KVAC B game in Pittsfield.

Rachel Frye added a second-half goal for Oceanside (6-1-0).

Rheanna Lawn had 16 saves for MCI (1-6-0).

 Bangor 12, Skowhegan 0: Grace McLean scored five goals to lead the Rams to the KVAC Class A win in Skowhegan. Jacqueline Veilleux scored two goals while Libby Huber, Mary Butler, Denae Johnson, Jodi Fahey and Morgan Johnson scored one each.  Kristen Higgins and Cordelia Stewart combined for four saves for bangor (7-0-0) while

Andrea Quirion and Brittany Hemphill combined for 26 saves for Skowhegan (1-5-1).

Winslow 7, Mt. View 0: Pilar Elias and Autumn Poulin scored two goals apiece to lead the Black Raiders to the KVAC Class B win in Thorndike. Alliyah Veilleux, Mryanda Dodge and Kelsey Houston also scored while Rachel Sirois added a pair of assists. Hillary Libby made three sabes in goal for Winslow (5-2-0). Mt. View is 0-7-0.

Colby 5, UMF 0: Colby College junior Crysti Tsujiura scored the first two goals of the game as the Mules beat the University of Maine at Farmington 5-0 Tuesday at Prescott Field.

Grace Dickinson, Maddie Tight and Kate Pistel also scored for Colby, which improves to 3-1-0. Emily brook had four saves to earn the win for the Mules.

Beth Lebel had four saves for UMF (3-2-0) which was outshot 24-6.

Men’s soccer

Thomas 2, Southern Maine 1: Michael Hand scored two goals as the Terriers beat the Huskies in Waterville.

Hand has scored in five straight games for Thomas (4-0-1). Marcus Johnson and Kenny Cano both had an assist and Mikkail Crockwell had earned the win in goal.

USM falls to 1-6-0.
