LEWISTON— Alexis Chamberlain scored 1 minutes, 12 seconds into the first overtime as the Lawrence High School field hockey team beat Lewiston 1-0 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Thursday.

Kapriece Dahms had an assist on the game-winner for Lawrence (6-2-1). Julia Lawrence took a shot that was saved, then Chamberlain got the rebound and passed it to Dahms, who took a shot that was saved and Chamberlain put in the rebound.

Emily Tozier had four saves for the Bulldogs.

Ravon Palmer had 12 saves for Lewiston (6-2-0).

Messalonskee 10, Mt. Ararat 0:
  Kristy Bernatchez and Lynnae Luettich each scored three goals as the Eagles cruised to a KVAC A win in Waterville.

Emily York added two goals and three assists for Messalonskee (6-1). Brooke Quirion and Natalie Hunt had a goal apiece. Abby Roberts made three saves for the shutout.

Renee Rosignol had 25 saves for Mt. Ararat (5-3).

Mt. View 1, Oceanside 0: Kersey Boulay converted a penalty stroke with 21:50 left in the first half, and that goal held up as the Mustangs edged the Mariners in Thorndike.

Abbie Charrier made five saves for Mt. View (6-2), and back Abby Stubbs preserved the shutout with a defensive save in the second half.

Zoey Proctor made eight saves for Oceanside (4-2-1).

Leavitt 2, Erskine 0: The Hornets scored a goal in each half to take the victory in South China.

Sadie Royer found the cage with 57 seconds left in teh first half, and Bri DeGone had the second-half goal. Megan Dow added an assist. Leavitt had 17 penalty corners, compared to six for Erskine.

Sierra Santomango made four saves for Leavitt (5-1). Lexie Soucy had 10 stops for Erskine (1-6).

Skowhegan 11, Bangor 0: Seven different players scored as the Indians blanked the Rams in Skowhegan.

Sarah Finnemore scored three goals, while Allison Lancaster and Makaela Michonski had two apiece. Renee Wright, Lauren LeBlanc, Rylie Blanchet, and Mikayla Toth had one apiece. LeBlanc’s was her first varsity goal. Blanchet added three assists. Skowhegan (9-0) outshot the Rams, 60-0.

Rachel Luc made 25 saves for Bangor (1-7).

Boys soccer

Mt. View 1, Morse 0: James Philbrook scored late in the first half and the Mt. View boys soccer team made it stand to earn a 1-0 victory over Morse in a Class B game Thursday in Thorndike.

Lorenzo Milani assisted on the goal, which came at the 28:25 mark.

Mikey Hustus had four saves on 10 shots to earn the shutout for Mt. View (5-2-1).

Duane Tardiff had 10 saves for the Shipbuilders (0-7-0).

Monmouth 1, Carrabec/Madison 1: Kyle Fletcher scored an unassisted goal at the 17-minute mark of the second half to help Monmouth pull even.

Kasey Smith had 10 saves for the Mustangs (1-4-3) while Trent Richardson had 15 for Madison/Carrabec (2-4-1).

Seth Burns opend the scoring at the 29-minute mark of the second half for the Cobras.

Maranacook 6, Nokomis 0: Kent Mohlar scored two goals to lead the host Black Bears to the Class B victory in Readfield.

Maranacook improved to 6-0-0 while Nokomis dropped to 1-5-1.

Girls soccer

Nokomis 4, Maranacook 0: Lacey Kent-Webber had two assists for the Warriors in their victory over the Black Bears in a KVAC B contest in Nokomis.

Kelsie Richards, Emalie Bailey, Monica Grant and Emily Paige each scored goals for Nokomis (4-3), while Audrey Temple added an assist.

Becky Orcutt made seven saves for the shutout for Nokomis.

Kaitlyn Chick made 10 saves for Maranacook (3-1-2).
