Whereas Sept. 11 is a solemn day of remembrance in America, it is a day of celebration in many countries.
Given that, would it not make sense to make sure that the American embassies in those countries be guarded with extra troops in order to prevent such tragedies as those that recently occurred?
Is that really too much to ask?
When an American ambassador is murdered and the American flag is burned on the anniversary of Sept. 11, it seems to me that the president could at least show enough respect to cancel his fundraiser in Las Vegas for that night.
Is that really too much to ask?
Apparently it is.
