I’m pleased Patsy Crockett is a Democratic candidate for Legislature in District 57. Like many people, I’m grateful that Crockett sponsored legislation that has saved property taxpayers over $8 million.
I will vote for Crockett, however, not only because of her proven record of results in the Legislature, but also because of something else that is equally important to me.
Crockett cares deeply for people and has proven that by her commitment to our community. Crockett is vice president of the board of directors of the Children’s Center, serves on the board of directors of the Kennebec Behavioral Health, is past chairwoman of the Fort Western board of trustees and is a member of many local organizations.
I know when it comes time to vote on important issues, Crockett will consider the impact her vote will have on all citizens in our community.
