AUBURN — Two former governors top the agenda for this week’s annual Maine Democratic Party dinner.

Former Govs. Ted Strickland of Ohio and Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania will be the keynote speakers at the party’s Jefferson-Jackson Dinner on Friday.

Strickland is now a member of the governors’ council at the Bipartisan Policy Center. Strickland spoke on the first day of the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

Rendell is co-chair of “Building America’s Future,” which focuses on the need for more significant investment in American infrastructure projects. He also served two terms as mayor of Philadelphia.
