Last legislative session, I was disappointed by votes by Rep. Deb Sanderson, R-District 52, on several key health bills.

She voted to cut $400,000 from women’s preventative health care services and voted against the creation of a check off on the income tax form to allow tax filers to donate to the Comprehensive Cancer Screening, Detection and Prevention Fund.

I want a representative who puts health care as a priority.

Democrat Elizabeth Miller of Somerville is an expert on health policy and has experience as a representative, serving four years on the Health and Human Services Committee and two years on the Appropriations Committee. Her track record shows that she is fully committed to serving the people of Maine.

Let’s elect a woman we can trust to protect our basic rights. I ask others to join me on Nov. 6 and vote for Miller.
