People who live on Augusta’s east side have a unique opportunity to vote for someone who will speak for all of us.

Corey Wilson, Republican candidate for House District 56 in Augusta, has the ability to work with everyone, regardless of their political affiliation, to get results. He is a fiscal conservative who is also a consensus builder, having earned the endorsement of the AFGE Local 219 union president.

Corey represents the independent kind of leadership we need in Augusta.

His record of public service is extraordinary. He served in combat as a U.S. Marine in Iraq and continued to serve at the Department of Homeland Security.

After returning to civilian life, Wilson’s been active with the Augusta Downtown Alliance and has volunteered in the Youth Mentor Program to local high school students.

I urge others to join me in voting for Wilson to represent District 56 in the Legislature.
