PITTSFIELD — Ashley Alton had a hat trick to lead Maine Central Institute past Lincoln 5-2 in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B girls soccer action Friday.

Alton scored twice in the first half and once in the second. Eliana Bergdoll and Carmeline Cunningham had the other goals for MCI (3-9-0). Hannah Emery had three assists. Katherine Smedberg made 12 saves.

Lillian Bissett and Ali Gorrill each scored for the Eagles (0-2-11). Rachel Hughes stopped 21 shots.

Erskine 1, Brewer 0: Bridget Humphrey scored with 12 minutes left in the first half on a direct kick from just inside midfield as the Eagles won a KVAC A game in Brewer.

Paige Leary had four saves for Erskine, which improves to 6-3-2.

Glory Watson had 12 saves for Brewer (0-10-0).

Mt. Blue 5, Messalonskee 0: Mackenzie Conlogue had a pair of goals as the Cougars won a KVAC A game in Farmington.

Chelsea Newhall added a goal and an assist for Mt. Blue (5-4-1). Eryn Doiron and Jaycee Mullen both scored and Hope Thompson chipped in an assist. Gabby Foy and Thia Bridges combined to make 13 saves.

Shawna Oliver had 22 saves for Messalonskee (0-11-0).

Cony 5, Skowhegan 0: Lindsey Folsom scored twice to lead the visiting Rams to the KVAC A win. Emily Quirion, Bayleigh Logan and Annie Brannigan each added a goal for Cony (6-6-0). Josie Lee had two assists. Autumn Sudsbury stopped nine shots.

Andrea Quirion and Christina Caggiano combined to make 13 saves for Skowhegan (1-9-1).

Bangor 2, Waterville 1: Hunter Boyce and Nate Bach each scored a goal as the Rams took a 2-0 lead and held on for the KVAC A win in Waterville.

Colton Markevich made three saves for Bangor (7-1-3).

Michael Olivera scored off an assist from Tommy Samson for Waterville (5-3-3). Zach Disch stopped four shots.

Mt. View 4, Leavitt 3: Kyle Crowell scored from James Philbrick with 4:40 left in the game to lift the Mustangs to a KVAC B win in Thorndike.

Lorenzo Milani scored his second goal of the game with an assist from Philbrick with 8:26 left in the first half to tie the game at 3. Philbrick had three assists while Trevor Diemer also scored for Mt. View (9-2-1). Mikey Hustus earned the win with four saves.

Brandon Morrissette had a goal and an assist for Leavitt (2-10-0), which also scored on a Mt. View own goal. Ben Fullerton stopped 11 shots.

Mt. Abram 1, Lisbon 0: Calum Dixon scored an unassisted goal 10 minutes into the second half to lift the Roadrunners to an MVC win in Salem.

Tristen Dyer had eight svaes for Mt. Abram (7-4-1).

Andrew Gamache had 10 saves for Lisbon (4-7-1).

Field hockey

Messalonskee 8, Cony 0: Kristy Bernatchez had three goals and an assist as the Eagles won a KVAC A game in Oakland.

Kylee Knight added two goals while Emily York and Erin Field each had a goal and an assist for Messalonskee (12-1-0). Lynnae Leuttich chipped in a goal and Brooke Quirion added an assist. Abby Roberts earned the win with two saves.

Kevie Rodrigue had 26 saves for Cony (3-7-3).

Nokomis 6, Morse 1: Lindsay Whitney and Taylor Shaw scored two goals apiece to lead the Warriors to the KVAC B win in Newport. Kelsey Kerstetter and Shannon Kasprzak also scored for Nokomis (9-2-1). Abbie Donaldson chipped in with two assists. Kendra Underhill didn’t have to make a save in net.

Julia Hart scored for Morse (1-11-0). Bryanna Riagrose made 12 saves.
