FRYEBURG — Maine’s agricultural fair season is drawing to a close.

The eight-day Fryeburg Fair ends on Sunday. Maine has more than two dozen fairs that run from spring into October.

Besides being the final fair of the season, the Fryeburg Fair is also the state’s largest, attracting crowds with its midway, farm animals, animal competitions, pig scrambles, music and dozens of food booths.

The fair has been held in its current location since 1985.
