As a longtime resident of House District 78 (Oakland and Sidney), I lend my support to Democrat Harry Hayes.
He brings fresh ideas when the current approach isn’t working.
Blindly slashing budgets is not a wise approach to budget problems. Our state government should be working on carefully targeted cuts and investment in education and having the Legislature work more closely with business leaders.
Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.
This November the voters of Sidney and Oakland can re-elect the same person for a seventh term or try something different.
