AUGUSTA — Frank Warren, creator of PostSecret, will give a talk at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at the Augusta Civic Center.

PostSecret is an ongoing community mail art project in which people mail secrets anonymously on a homemade postcard. The cards are posted at www.PostSecret.com, which is visited by more than seven million people every month. The effort has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.

Warren has talked about the project on Good Morning America, the Today show, 20/20, CNN and NPR. His most recent book, “PostSecret Confessions on Life, Death and God,” reached number one on the New York Times best-seller list.

This event is sponsored by the University of Maine at Augusta Student Government Association. Tickets cost $20.
