I agree with the letter that praised Sue Morissette, Republican candidate for House District 54, for her hard work and dedication.
She has proven to be a voice for all Winslow and Benton residents.
Morissette has the experience and knows how to keep Maine going in the right direction. As a member of the Legislature’s Committee on Public Safety and Criminal Justice, Morissette was instrumental in legislation that made bath salts illegal.
Her involvement in community events — volunteer in the MS Walk, co-creator of the National Community Service Education Project and member of Winslow Zoning Board of Appeals and Board of Personnel Appeals — has given her tools to be able to see both sides of an issue and vote what best serves the residents she represents. And yes, she does listen to her constituents.
I urge others to join me in voting for Morissette on Nov. election.
