FARMINGTON — In preparation for Fire Prevention Week, the Farmington Fire Department Open House is planned for 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the fire station, 153 Farmington Falls Road.
Visitors can enjoy light refreshments, fire department members will show, demonstrate and answer questions about firefighting. Hand-outs that offer suggestions for fire prevention practices for the home and workplace will be available. For more information, call 778-3235.
