In talking with Darek Grant, it is clear to see how much he cares for Augusta and our future.

As a city councilor, he is committed to working for a stronger community. I appreciate his leadership on the Eastside Planning Committee and the work it did to address the future of Augusta’s eastside riverfront.

Grant understands the need to make the Kennebec Arsenal a vibrant destination; the need to make sure that the hospital building does not remain vacant after its relocation; and the need to turn a former mill site into an attractive development.

I know Grant will continue to focus on these matters for a better Augusta. His hard work has earned my support.
