Over the past several weeks, I have received two hateful and disgusting mailings against Rep. Susan Morissette, Republican candidate for House District 54.
The first one I marked return to sender and put back in my mail box, the second one I ripped up and threw away.
In the 22 years that I have lived in the town of Winslow, I have never been subjected to such nasty tactics during an election. Spread such hate and untruthfulness seems to me as nothing more than an act of desperation to.
I have never known Morissette to be anything but honest, hardworking and loyal to her constituents in Winslow and the state of Maine.
Shame on the people who felt it necessary to send out such garbage.
