In a time where politics seems to be more talk than reality, I am grateful for people such as Colleen Lachowicz, who brings a breath of fresh air to the process.

Lachowicz, Democratic candidate for Senate District 25, is a dedicated and honest individual who seeks to improve people’s lives.

She entered the race for one reason: Children in our schools are losing their mothers to preventable causes because they can’t afford to access health care.

As a devout Christian, I support her desire to see every person have access to health care as a human right. She fights for our children so they can lead happy and productive lives rather than struggle to survive like many of their parents.

That fight is a righteous one and I believe we should send Lachowicz to represent us in the Maine Senate.
