MANCHESTER, N.H. — With the election closing in, President Obama is returning to swing state New Hampshire.

A campaign official says the president will be in Manchester on Thursday. He was last in the state in early September, when he and Vice President Joe Biden campaigned at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth.

The latest WMUR Granite State poll shows a tight race in New Hampshire, with Obama holding a slight lead over Republican Mitt Romney.
