FARMINGDALE — Zack McNaughton had three goals and an assist and Colin Lush scored two goals and had an assist as Hall-Dale beat Wiscasset 7-1 to remain unbeaten in Mountain Valley Conference boys soccer action Friday.
Steve Longfellow and Nat Crocker each added a goal for Hall-Dale (13-0-1). Crocker had two assists. Sam Shepherd made three saves for the Bulldogs, while Wiscasset goalie Nathanial Mills had 10 saves.
Dale Peaslee scored the lone goal for the Coyotes (7-6-1).
Monmouth 2, Winthrop 0: Josh and Russell Neal scored first-half goals to lead the Mustangs to the Mountain Valley Conference win and knock the Ramblers from the playoffs.
Russell assisted on Josh Neal’s goal then scored one himself, assisted by Noah Bates. Kasey Smith made four saves for Monmouth (4-9-1) while Matt Sekerak had 12 for Winthrop (4-9-1).
Girls soccer
Erskine 4, Messalonskee 0: Avery Bond scored four times as Erskine earned a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win in South China.
Jade Canak had a pair of assists for Erskine (8-3-2), while Emma Wilkinson added a goal and Bailee Doughty an assist. Paige Leary made five saves and Mattie Lajoie two for Erskine.
Shawna Oliver had seven saves for Messalonskee (0-13-0).
Maranacook 3, Leavitt 0: Lindsey Perkins had a goal and an assist as the Black Bears won a KVAC B game in Readfield.
Sarah Clough and Catherine Sanborn also scored for Maranacook (7-3-3). Sydney Gilbert and Lily McLaughlin each added an assist while Elizabeth D’Angelo had four saves.
Angela Daigle made 12 saves for Leavitt (4-9-1).
Women’s hockey
Quinnipiac 6, Maine 1: The Bobcats outshot the Black Bears 39-9 on their way to a win in Hamden, Conn.
Kelly Babstock had three goals for Quinnipiac. Kylie Smith and Meghann Treacy combined for 33 saves for Maine.
College field hockey
Boston University 3, Maine 1: Holly Stewart gave the Black Bears a 1-0 lead, but the Terriers scored three straight goals to earn the America East win in Cambridge, Mass.
Annabelle Hamilton had an assist for Maine (9-6-0, 2-1-0) while goalie Alicia Frisch had seven saves.
Ella Gunson, Jacinda McLeod and Rachel Coll all scored for BU (9-4-0, 3-0-0).
