AUGUSTA — The University of Maine at Augusta will hold an open house for prospective students and their families on Tuesday in the Michael Klahr Center on the university campus.

The schedule includes:

* Academic program, a student life information fair and tentative transfer credit evaluations from 3 to 5 p.m. Attendees should bring copies of their college transcripts.

* Opening remarks and a student panel from 3:30 to 4 p.m.

* Tours will begin at 4 p.m.

* Try a Class! will offer attendees the opportunity to sit in on a class, starting at 4 p.m.

On Monday, jazz group Duo Montagard will perform a variety of music in a concert beginning at noon in the university’s Jewett Auditorium.

The concert is free and open to the public. The duo is comprised of Joseph Murphy on saxophone and Mathew Slotkin on guitar. More information about the group is online at www.duomontagnard.com. For more information about the concert, call 621-3179.
