10:18 p.m., James R. Shorey, 32, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and summonsed for the sale and use of drug paraphernalia; and Timothy Ray Bellavance, 44, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant, by police responding to a report of criminal mischief on Water Street.

11:35 p.m., Tylor J. Cunliffe, 24, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of assault, by police responding to a report of a simple assault on Northern Avenue.
