Patsy Crockett represents the needs of young people.
I am writing to express my support for Crockett, Democratic candidate for House District 57.
Crockett understands the needs and difficulties that young people face today. She understands that, in order to build a vibrant economy for young people, we must invest in higher education while controlling the costs of local property taxes.
She’s worked on issues ranging from equality to public education and finding solutions to out-of-control fuel costs through the PACE program. The jail consolidation legislation that Crockett sponsored while in the Legislature already has saved taxpayers $8.5 million.
It’s this kind of creative thinking and bipartisan spirit that we need today more than ever.
Although I have moved away from Augusta, I have always admired Crockett’s leadership in building a better tomorrow for future generations in my hometown.
