When I received a flier in the mail from the Republican Party slinging mud at Colleen Lachowicz, Democratic candidate for Senate District 25, for gaming, I just had to sigh.

Shouldn’t they be doing more important things? World of Warcraft has 50 million users and a gaming language develops.

Haven’t we all said something about someone that we would not actually do? Such as, “I’d like to knock some sense into him.” In reality, however, that would never actually happen.

I imagine that in another setting Lachowicz would have said something much milder.

While actions are much more important than words, as a former Republican, I find much more alarming the hateful words and actions coming out of the governor’s office and his chorus in the Republican Party.
