The town of Fairfield in the past few years has made great strides in recovering from the many problems it has faced. The leadership of the town council is important in continued progress. This November, two three-year terms will be filled.
I personally know two of the men running for the vacant council positions. Richard “Skip” Tompkins and John Picchiotti both have served on various town boards, and I believe they will continue to move the town in a positive direction.
Tompkins and Picchiotti offer strong communication skills that will facilitate their working with the current administration.
I hope the voters feel as strongly as I do and support the election of Tompkins and Picchiotti for seats on the Fairfield Town Council.
