In Maine, half of our murders are the result of domestic violence. As district attorney, Democrat Maeghan Maloney will have a zero-tolerance policy toward this crime. She understands that if we stop the cycle of violence before is escalates, we can keep our families safe.

This policy extends to protecting victims of child and elder abuse.

She is a guardian ad litem, which gives her special training to understand and help child victims through the legal system. As a mother of three, this is important to me.

When people of all ages feel safe at home, they are more likely to succeed at work and school, and not end up in the hospital or worse.

We need a district attorney who will put the abusers in jail, break the cycle of abuse and help the victims lead lives without fear. I urge others to join me and vote for Maloney.
