Maeghan Maloney and I have served together in the Legislature for the last two years, and I appreciate having the opportunity to get to know this woman and what she stands for.

Maloney, Democratic candidate for district attorney for Kennebec and Somerset counties, has achieved education and experience (here in Maine, elsewhere in the country and abroad) that will serve her very well as the next DA. Perhaps even more important, Maloney has a clear vision of the future and how the DA’s Office can best serve us in a constantly changing and complex society. As a victim of two crimes that have been prosecuted by the District Attorney’s Office, I know that this office has functioned well and served us well. But there are still opportunities for improvement and Maloney’s vision will provide direction for these important changes. Maloney will have my vote in the November election.
