DIXFIELD — The Oak Hill football team finished up the regular season with a bang, routing Dirigo 33-0 to clinch the second seed in the Campbell Conference Class C playoffs.

“We’re hungry and excited for the playoffs,” Oak Hill coach Stacen Doucette said. “We’re anxious to be home. We play well at home.”

Oak Hill (7-1) will host No. 7 Lisbon (4-4) in a quarterfinal game Saturday. Winslow (7-1) earned the top seed.

The Cougars (6-2) and Raiders were scoreless after the first quarter but things changed in a hurry in the second.

Parker Asselin rushed for a pair of second-quarter touchdowns as Oak Hill took a 19-0 lead into the half.

Alex Mace rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. Kyle Flaherty rushed for 107 yards on 13 carries for the Raiders.

“We came to play,” Doucette said. “We executed and we had no turnovers. That was the most important thing.”

Dirigo, which enters the playoffs as the third seed, never got inside the Oak Hill 28-yard line.
